Pretrial services under the General Division began operation on February 1, 1999. Our mission is to develop and provide services that support informed, accountable pretrial release and detention decisions that neither unduly restrict a defendant's liberty nor compromise the community's safety, and to provide objective and relevant information related to diversion/treatment program eligibility for programs such as the Butler County Specialty Courts .

Staff

The staff consists of three screening officers, three supervision officers and a director.

Office Hours

Our office is located at 824 Martin Luther King Blvd. in Hamilton, and is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. We are also able to meet with defendants in the Middletown office located at the City Building at One Donham Plaza.
